Gigi Hanna

Executive Director

I am a results-oriented and highly motivated individual with proven track records and 25 years experience in public relations, journalism, governmental affairs, project planning/management and team building. I am a Master Municipal Clerk interested in a challenging, fast-paced director level position that leverages my experience and skills in communications, governmental relations, and governmental transparency. Also open to consulting positions.

Daniel Cozad

Executive Management

Daniel Cozad, the president of Integrated Planning and Management Inc., a consulting and contracting organization working throughout California specializing in water and resources planning and management and integration of stakeholders needs to produce value and community benefits.  He has worked for both public, private, and non-profit sector clients, and his background in regional policy and funding is based on ten years at the Santa Ana Watershed Project Authority working with governments and businesses to achieve regional goals. He also managed the San Bernardino Valley Water Conservation District, from 2012 to 2022 recharging water in the Bunker Hill Groundwater Basin.  He has been the contract Executive Director of the Central Valley Salinity Coalition and program director for CV-SALTS for the past 15 years.

Geneva Rodgers

Vice President, Practice Solutions at Bank of America

Geneva started her Banking Career in August 2005 with Bank of America. She found her passion for Small business in 2008 and has continued to cultivate and assist business clients with accomplishing their desired growth and financial development. She moved to the city of Riverside as a Small Business Banker in 2011 and recently took on a new position as a Practice Solutions Business Development Officer covering the Inland Empire & San Diego Regions. This position allows her to utilize her enhanced credit skills and acumen to assist Small Business Clients specializing in the medical industry to secure the financing they need to start, grow and scale their businesses. With 18 years in the industry she brings a wealth of knowledge to every business owner she works with. Her passion is to help clients grow to their desired financial potential through education and guidance.

Geneva is a 2021 Diversity & Inclusion Award Winner and a member of the Black Professional Group Coastal & Inland CA. She is a part of the Chapter cabinet and a Co-Chair of the Professional Development Committee, Vice Chair on the board for Habitat for Humanity San Bernardino, Director on the Board for NAWBO IE and a Bank of America Ambassador for NAWBO National. Geneva is CFO of her own non-profit organization Healing Hope for Humanity- Homeless and Disadvantaged Services and serves as the worship leader of her community church.  Geneva is an active mentor within Bank of America taking time to not only give back to the community but also help empower, prepare and share her knowledge with up and coming Associates.

She loves what she does and is thankful to have the opportunity to support Business Owners and help them accomplish their goals.

Tobin Brinker

President of the Rialto Education Association

I started teaching in 1995. I was hired to teach RSP students at Colton High School, my alma mater. I had just started my teacher credential courses at CSUSB and was hired on Emergency Credential because of a teacher shortage.

After 5 years of teaching in Colton I switched districts to Rialto. I have been at Frisbie Middle School for 22 years. Over the almost three decades of teaching I have been very involved in our union.

Former REA president Bill Hedrick asked me to be on the negotiation team. I was elected as a Middle School Director and State Council rep many times. I was elected to the NEA RA twice.

Outside of REA I have also spent a decade in elected public office. First as a a Colton School Board member (2001-2005) and then on the San Bernardino city council (2006-2012).

I have been married to my wife, Erin, for 28 years and we have 2 grown children. We have also hosted exchange students from all over the world. We are currently host parents to two college athletes from Mali.

Victor Suarez

Graphic Designer & Owner of Your Silent Outburst

Victor Suárez is the creative mind behind “Your Silent Outburst”. He has been designing since the age of 17 and has made his passion into a thriving small business. He graduated in 2006 from California State University, San Bernardino obtaining a Bachelors in Art with a concentration in Graphic Design.

While completing his education Victor was employed by the university as the Graphic Designer for both the Art Department and the prestigious Robert V. Fuller Art Museum (now known as the Robert and Frances Fullerton Museum of Art). Upon graduation, Victor had already established a growing group of individuals and organizations seeking his creativity and visual problem solving skills – this would be the official start of “Your Silent Outburst.” As a passionate community leader and volunteer, Victor enjoys utilizing his creative skills and talents to give back to his community.

Kimberly Calvin

San Bernardino Council member Ward 6

Kimberly Calvin is a third-generation native of San Bernardino. She wears many hats in her community, serving as a Homeless Community Liaison, Property Manager, Small Business Owner, and Executive Director of the Akoma Unity Center, a thriving non-profit dedicated to supporting families in the San Bernardino City Unified School District. Kimberly also has a history of leadership, having previously served as the President of the Shirrell’s Neighborhood Association. In 2020, she was elected to represent the 6th ward on the San Bernardino City Council.

Since taking office, Kimberly has played a vital role in revitalizing the city. Her accomplishments in partnership with city staff and her colleagues on the council include steering the city away from bankruptcy, establishing a youth council in partnership with the San Bernardino City Unified School District, overseeing the successful completion of the State Street expansion project, and bringing the first housing development to the 6th ward in over three decades.

Manal Iskander

President at PCtronics, Managed IT Services

After a successful career in Austria, firstly working in finance and later assisting her family business become one of the leading IT consultants and Hewlett Packard distributers in Vienna, Manal Iskander returned to the United States in 1997 and founded PCtronics.

Manal surrounded herself with a small, but highly skilled team of engineers comprised MIT graduates. Partnering with a major accountancy software firm, the word quickly spread and PCtronics soon became the IT consultant of choice for a diverse portfolio of companies from a broad cross-section of different industries across Southern California. In 2015, Manal recruited Nick Harney to head up PCtronics’ operations. Bringing 40 plus years experience serving primarily public sector clients, Nick focused initially on assisting PCtronics attain the necessary qualifications to serve the public sector and secured some major contracts with leading municipal entities.

Barbara Keough

Law Attorney

Barbara A. Keough earned her Juris Doctorate in 1990 from Citrus Belt Law School in Riverside, California and was admitted to practice law in California in December 1990.  She is admitted to practice in the U.S. District Court and the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeal.

Barbara is a member of the American Board of Trial Advocates (ABOTA) and has tried cases to verdict throughout Southern California.  Her experience is focused on insurance defense litigation, and she has handled numerous matters including  personal injury, torts, real estate, land use and planning, business law, employment discrimination law, construction defect, quiet title, injunctive relief, homeowner litigation, landlord-tenant disputes, and transactional law among others.

She is active in her community as well.  Since 2005, she has been a member of the Board of Directors for Habitat for Humanity, San Bernardino Area.  She is the immediate past president of the San Bernardino County Bar Association, having held a position on the Board of Directors for the past twelve years.  Since 2002, she has served as a member of the Board of Directors for the Legal Aid Society of San Bernardino.  She sits on the Diocesan Pastoral Council for the Catholic Diocese of San Bernardino and is a recipient of the St. Thomas More award issued by the Red Mass Committee.

Barbara has raised three children, the last of whom was born during her second year of law school.  She plays piano, sings with the Community Chorus of Redlands and is choir director at her church.

John Houston

Retired Law Enforcement Agent

John Houston loves to take a vision and turn it into reality. With well thought out plans and strategies,  building bridges and making connections with other organizations his visions manifest into successes for the organizations that he works with. Bringing years of DIY expertise to construction, landscaping, cost, and money management for projects John leads the pack with his getting things done attitude. His  motivation to work with the Habitat of Humanity stems from his need to give back and to help others. He seeks to inspire others mentally, physically, and financially through a collaborative effort as a board member.  An inspirational leader who leads by example John stays grounded with his focus on making a difference in his community. His lifelong work as a 26 year Retired Parole Agent has been leading those that needed to rebuild their lives from scratch. Conducting  thousands of independent investigations, addressed the risk and needs of those that he supervised, addressing drug and alcohol addiction, homelessness, employment, mental health, etc. he knows first-hand that sometimes people just need a chance or opportunity to turn things around. John holds an bachelor’s in biology from California State University San Bernardino  and has served on several Boards of Directors Including Cops for Kids and volunteers his time with several non-profit organizations. He firmly believes, “We only have one life and we need to live it to the fullest.  Express yourself in everything you do. Learn from your mistakes. Fulfill your destiny that God gave you and remember not to let yourself get in the way.
